Teen Years
My teen years bring me tears, pain and anger.
They bring me joy, laughs, and smiles
They bring me tears, pain, and anger from heart breaks, losses, and fights.
They bring me joy, laughs, and smiles from new love, friends, and freedom.
The tears don't always come from sadness; they also come from moments of
pure happiness.
And the smiles are not always real; some are just there to cover all other
emotions in my heart.
I've made new friends, I've lost some.
I've been through heartbreak, but I end up stronger every time. I've felt free,
and that I could do anything.
I've also felt trapped, like if my whole world was in a bird cage.
These teen years bring me scars, boredom, and rage
Just as often as they bring me good memories, fun, and happiness
