You are the sun and the moon
The wind and the earth
You are the light
And the dark
You are the warm cup of tea
And the book I can read over and over

However, you are not the twinkle in the stars,
The superhero to save me,
Or my knight in shining armor
And you are certainly not the best candy in the shop
There is just no way you are the brightest star in the sky

It is possible that you are the key to my heart
Maybe even the rainfall a desert wishes for
But you are not even close to being my Prince Charming

A quick look in the mirror will show
That you are neither the spark in the fire,
Nor the air in my lungs

It might interest you to know, speaking of the plentiful imagery of the world,
That I am the shooting star in the sky

I also happen to be the atoms in the air
The beautiful flowers in a meadow
And the clear sky on a sunny day

I am also the light in the dark
And the dark in the light

But don't worry, I'm not the sun and the moon
You are still the sun and the moon
You will always be the sun and the moon
Not to mention the wind and -somehow- the earth
