The tears of the pen fill the paper
Leaving words as cold as ice as it passes each line
It wants its words to be seen
To be read, to be comprehended
But nobody looks.
They type away ignoring the pen
As the stacks of papers get higher
And colder
The pen writes of hatred
Of sorrow, of pain.
It feels beaten and betrayed
Like a child in a household that never wanted it.
But one day, after so many words were written and ignored,
It will die empty inside.
Empty of tears
Empty of hate
Empty of everything
