They kicked you out of Eden's throat
So you buried crippled minds
And sewed them to your lovely coat
For lack of bread and wine
Then the serpent drew a circle
pointed faces to your fall
But the veins inside were empty
As you traced them down the walls
You were left to sell creation
From the palm of heartless hands
you were something and then nothing
But you left a withered plan
There were basements in your eyes
While you wept a subtle blue
But the oceans turned to lies
And then, well dear, I knew
