Depression
I saw depression clearly
She was distraught, heartless and lonely.
I saw her sad face, trembling dark eyes, blood red lips and pale skin covered in deep cuts and bruises from the self harm she has put herself through.
I heard her sobbing out loud
She turned and looked out the window to gaze at the breath taking night sky but failed to see the endless beauty of it for nothing can ever seem beautiful to her or give her the slightest joy.
Misused and broken unable to recover from the hurt she has endured.
I heard her whispering to the wind
She turned and started shaking.
I heard her start to say how lonely she was
And felt the little joy she had blow away as she sat there making the sky cry with pity.
