Are We Truly Free?
In the country of freedom,
Where the rights are of play.
In the country of freedom
Free is what they all say.
When the night lights shine,
The rich drink their whine,
But the needy panhandlers stand at street lights to wine.
We say that we’re free so we all safe divide.
Is it thought that prohibits us from getting by?
Religious conflicts are what unite,
And questions of science are said to shed the light.
Pick and choose,
We all pick and choose.
At the end of the day,
We all run and lose.
