a man’s guilt that of what we all carry/
Captures and Restrains the life of a young/
Manacles Force him to run before freedom/
nothing but Despair surrounds in the mist of Darkness/
a spark of Love and Light swallows the sorrow of man/
Warmth swings in the mind of the Hurt, Heals/
His eyes and heart devoted to the Truth, Transforms/
To be forgiven is to share the mercy,/
Wisdom touches the beloved./

There are times when we have to let go of people that we love. When we are confronted with situations that obstruct us to act upon our own free will, we often feel powerless

The author's comments:
I was inspired to write this poem after I read Les Miserables. Although people all have their own manacles that often restrain them from reaching to freedom, I wish they could all remember that there is a source of love and hope that brightens and frees them from the dark reality.
