Little Louise
Little Louise
Little Louise, as perhaps you have heard, is not the nicest of girls.
Cunning, incisive, and always decisive, it’s never insipid, her world.
A quiet color of black, her hair swoops down her back, and a laugh so viciously sweet,
Louise decided, early one morning, that she desired a treat.
So Little Louise, skipped down the street and entered the candy shop
She stepped up to the owner and asked for a treat, but give her a piece, he would not.
“Oh, little girl, the sun has barely awakened, and breakfast I doubt you have had.
As you are young, you would not know, but candy too early is bad.”
But Little Louise grew quite vexed as the bantering wore on,
So she cracked a smile as she cracked his skull, and thus the argument was won.
Without missing a beat, Louise tip-toed on her feet and fetched the candy jar,
She searched through the treats, and picked out a sweet. “See? That wasn’t so hard.”
She popped the treat in her mouth and was surprised to find, as she skipped out the door
The sweet wasn’t so sweet, but acerbic to eat, yet Louise liked it all the more.
