We're still friends, Right??
When we first met i had no idea,
i had no idea that you mean much more to me,
we started slow
with a simple hello
and work our way up
to joking around
even when others
were around
As we got older
and reach freshman year
of high school
everything changed.....
for the worse
you let other girls get to you
and left me alone..
by myself
i felt nothing but
absolute sorrow
you soon started drifting away
not only from me
but from others who were there for you
we use walk through the halls of middle school together
not caring about what others think
talk about anything we wanted to
we went from best friends
to strangers who just
look at each other...
from a distant
i wish we could start over
back to the way things use to be
but i see you've adapted
to your new persona
and your in complete bliss with yourself
how knows were the road will end
but i hope I'm still at least...
your friend
