Legacy
Darkness all around
She sees nothing
But she feels
She feels the still earth
She feels the whisper of wind
Making its way from her bare toes to her listening ears
She feels fear seeking into her skin, into her bones
she tries to fight off the darkness
But it tightly embraces her, becomes her
Once pure and light now fading into the dark unknown
She look into the darkness
Scenes of pain, death and sorrow run across her cold glass eyes
She falls onto her knees and covers her ears while she screams
So delicate like a flower she looses all her petals one by one
The darkness laughs at her weakness
"Do you give up" the darkness calls?
she lifts her face and steers into two black endless holes
A wide grin develops on her face
"i never give up" she said
To the darkness surprise she leaps up with her hidden strength
She runs through the dense gray forest
Her heels digging deeply into the ground
Running and running left without any breath
Shes sees light peeking through the tops of the dead trees of the forest
She feels it calling towards her
The warmth
The sweet fresh smell of air
The world
Almost to the hidden door that separates light and darkness
The Darkness Catches up and grasps her arm
"not so fast" the darkness said
She Tugs her arm and the darkness grip loosens
She runs towards the glowing door and throws herself through
The light welcomes her and heals her saddened body
She falls into a deep sleep
And wakes up in a cold sweat
Looking around she realizes shes in her room
And realized it was all a dream
A nightmare
