O Yes to Flowers
Lauren Brandenstein
“O Yes To Flowers”
O yes to May’s flowers,
o yes to April’s rain.
Here comes the springtime,
while winter fades.
Flowers bloom,
as the snow melts away.
Making it a beautiful day.
Walking with friends,
in the new hotter sun.
Jumping and playing enjoying the fun.
At the end of the day,
we all walk away.
As nightfall collides,
with the bright, sunny day.
