He was a fighter
He fought to run
On his silver blades
Of inspiration
He was a competitor
Running with the best in the world
And representing
A new South Africa
He was world class
With a Nike deal
He was an idol
He is a murderer
The only thing silver
was the bullet piercing bathroom door
And it was not inspiring
And we ask him
What is the likelihood
Of an intruder hiding in your bathroom?
And why didn’t you check to see
If she was still lying beside you

I love this! It's about Oscar Pistorius, right? The last line is great, and I love "He fought to run/On his silver blades/Of inspiration" - totally brilliant. Great job!
