The Road Not Taken
Two paths were laid before me,
Both were equally taken, both were equally my choice,
I quelled at this decision that could very well change who I am.
I could see the road so many have taken before me,
The easy way out,
I could train and work and try,
Or I could forget about this chance and move on.
I knew what it would mean to take either road,
This decision would have changed my destiny,
From fancy prom dresses,
To suits and goggles,
But who am I to say what I would be if I didn't choose the path I am on.
I would once wonder what it would be like to have taken the other road,
But never once have i regretted my choice.
