Words Kill
The words replayed
In his head like
A broken record.
“Why are you such an idiot.”
“Did you seriously think people cared about you?”
“Life would be much better if you were dead.”
The kids mocked every move he made.
He went home
Angry
Without being able to control
His emotions.
Small questions
Asked by his mom
Would send him into
Complete frustration.
He had no idea
how much his mom cared.
He wanted to say
Something to his parents
About what was going on at school,
But he didn't know how
To come up with the words
To explain.
He was not
Strong enough
To explain the words
That kept
Replaying
In his head.
"Why are you such an idiot."
"Did you seriously think that people cared about you?"
"Life would be much better if you were dead."
Once again,
Words got in his way,
And the broken record
Was not fixed.
He found a rope
