The first slivers of light
Assault your eyes, closed so tight
The initial Mother's embrace
Sets your life-long race
Pulled from the womb
You start your journey to the tomb
Life is only so short
Keep your body safe, a fort
Your parents watch you grow
Through the blistering heat and unrelenting snow
They guide you straight
And help make your life great
You won't be under protection forever
You will grow up and chase personal endeavors
Create points of view
And make breakthroughs
