We have to talk about something.
What’s that?
I’m leaving.
We’re not really understanding.
I’m growing up.
That’s abrupt.
It is, I hope you can accept it.
I don’t know, we’re sorry. Don’t forget us.
I won’t and you too.
And remember we are always here.
Definitely, though I’ve always known that.
And choose wisely.
Don’t you worry.
And count blessings.
Don’t you worry.

I am a senior going to college and this poem captures my relationship with my parents at this time in my life.
