Finishing College,
On the field of dreams.
Becoming numb,
As I grip the seams.
It's the final inning,
In the championship game,
The fans get louder,
As I'm one pitch from fame.

Fast-ball outside,
That's the catcher's call,
All it takes,
Is one major flaw.
I focus on the glove,
I pray to the man above.
As I start my wind-up,
I have made my mind up.

The pitch is perfect,
Me and the batter alike.
The fans gasp,
As I pitch my final strike.
