Cupid's Melody
Let me take a picture,
Let me steal a mem’ry,
Not so you may remember me,
But for me to see,
You’re smiling face,
When I get lonely.
Loneliness, it seems,
Loves to keep me company—
Loves to pick up memories,
Of days spent with you.
You and me,
Avoid reality,
And only dance
In mem’ry.
Until your face
Slowly fades,
And I’m dancing by myself,
Or rather,
With loneliness.
