I tried so hard
To keep it together
When it fell apart
I tried to be
There when there
Was no one else
I tried to understand
When things went wrong
I tried to forget
When you were gone
I tried to understand
Why I ended this
Way but at a point
How much can one person try
Because in the end all I can
Say is I tried
