A Sea of Creativity
Writing stories is
like leaving footprints in the
sand out by the coral painted beach and
your stories and books become ones’
inspiration but the next day the ocean sputters
foam and seaweed and shells to glide over the footprints you left
so those now hidden footprints are joined in unison
dragged in by the strong, magnetic force of water to meet
together in the middle of the sea; then the next time someone becomes lost
of ideas, flustered with disbelief, because their
footprints too have left their mind, and journeyed into the sea, yours
will soon wash upon their shore and feet will sink into the sand as the
creativity will slither up their toes,
and quickly sojourn up their body to remind
them of the creativity they once left behind in the raging sea
