"I'm too imaginative for my own good."

Fire flickering in the wind
so close to nothing
but still it fights
to burn bright

I hold my hands around the flame
though my hands burn from the frost around me
snow and wind
how much it covers
I will not let it cover this flame

this flame will grow
this flame will fuel an army
This flame will fuel any

If I must I will die to protect this flame
I will die and make this flame grow
it will grow until it can fight back
fight back the snow and the wind

Warmth will grow from this small flame
and as the flame grows
so will the courage in my army's heart

we will win
we will grow
we will fight back the snow cold hearts of our enemies
we will push back their armies even if they are as strong as the wind

If I must die to see this happen
then so be it
I will cry in heaven happy tears
when our flag is haled over all others
we will be the last to stand
“Victorious!”
my men will shout

If I must die to hear them proclaim this
then I will happily hear it from heaven
I will bring forth the sun to them
so that they may feel the glory

This flame will not die
this flame will grow
it will spread
and
by my last breath
it will scream!
“VICTORIOUS!”

The author's comments:
I had a dream and This came from it. I saw a flame that grew, and then I heard someone scream Victorious! This is what came from that. the next morning I woke up empowered, and shaking with anger. I don't know why, but that;s what happened.
