Life was never simple to begin with
But you gave it to me
You gave me love
You gave me hope
You gave me a chance
I know that I’ll never be perfect
No one ever is
But all I want to do is make you proud
Show you
Prove to you that you’ve taught me well
You’ve gave me courage
And you’ve gave me knowledge
You’ve given me what I need
And I know that one day
One day in this life you gave me
I’ll make my mother proud
