&quot;I do not fear an army of lions led by a lamb, however, I do fear an army of lambs led by a lion&quot;<br /> Alexander the Great

Broken and shattered
the only thing that mattered
by the hands of a killer
who wanted to see the world wither
The most dear price I've ever paid
now in his tent hath been lain
awaiting my city
and my cries for mercy
for fire
for slaughter
all for a man he mistakenly lain low
all this torture I didn't know

This poem is told from the point of view of Priam, king of Troy during the Trojan War. Achilles killed his son Hector for revenge bacause Hector killed Achilles best friend, Patroclus.Achilles defiles Hector's body because he is still enraged. Priam is thinking about his son and how the entire war was a mistake. Priam, in my poem, starts to sympathise with Achilles because they have both lost someone important to them. Though Achilles does not deserve that sympathy. Most of the Trojans were far better than the Greeks.
