Wakeboarding
The whole day behind me
All that matters now is me, my board, and the lake.
Waited all day for the lake to be empty and as calm as glass.
Pulling the boat out of the lift once everyones on.
Filling up the ballast tanks and fat sacs,
Lots of people in the boat for the biggest wake possible.
Pulling down my board from the tower rack.
Binding up on the back platform,
Falling backwards into the cold water.
Jumping wake to wake,
Throwing grabs and 180’s.
Trying to land the 360, but never can!
Drying off, watching my friends board,
The day is now officially over.
