Spring Poem

March 27, 2013
By Anonymous

Cold raw winter,
Wind and snow.
Warming sun,
don’t you know.
Bare branches, rising sap.
Soon emerging buds
And birds coming back,
giving splashes of color.
Squirrels getting frisky,
Kids whoop and holler.
Soon the flowers, then the bees.
Warming earth, starts to grow
Grass up to my knees.
