I stow them away in a far away place,
Kill their faint whispering in my ear,
Let them play by themselves for a bit,
When you are with me, holding me—
Those terrible insecurities that nag,
They have kept me from loving you,
Held me back from these things that I deserve,
The things that you have exposed me to,
For far too long.
