Ever so tranquil and calm
Resonance of the past
Ebbs away as I’m liberated
No more pain or tears
I am finally free of
The memories that
You left to haunt me

I wrote this about a year ago after a bad experience that left me very emotionally drained and unhappy. I guess you could say I poured my feelings into verses...
