Oh lord,
Help us not to dwell on regrets of the past-
Because we all know it's not worth it,
None of it was truly meant to last—

Our fate is in God's hands-
Lo!
Cleanse yourself as white as snow-
As you watch all of your sins wash away,
‘Tis for a lifetime, not just today..

Pull out thine cross, it's time to fight,
We have to run through the darkness, just to reach the light-
Screams so loud, the deaf could hear; watching, waiting, ear by ear.
Running from the past trying to make it through,
Thus noticing the shadows of darkness behind you..

The battle’s begun,
And we fear if we lose,
We'll never see the sun -
But we'll always see the hanging Neuse—

Watching, waiting, contemplating,
Of what will happen next-
Oh lord give us strength, because we have to fight,
For our rights to be ourselves,
Instead of being like everyone else..

We were each individually created
So perfect, so delicate,
A process we could never comprehend-
Society has it all wrong;
It takes time to mend—

We have to stand for the fallen,
And make sure no one is left behind,
Because we are the children
Of our savior, Christ-

And together, with him-
We can move mountains, and even jump oceans~
Spill thy blood for the broken;
For all of the salvation-
Alas! The shadows are finally open-
Never look back,
Just watch, as it all fades to black.

Trust in the Lord; fall to thine knees,
Repent, and one day, you will finally see
For we will truly live, for all eternity..
