I wish I could wake up from this nightmare
That keeps me feeling suffocated without air.
I want to know what it feels like to breathe
And to once again feel at ease.
I feel trapped inside of myself,
But I refuse to get help.
I can only get through this on my own
So please leave me alone.
I can feel the blood rushing through my veins
Every time someone mentions your name
Because all it brings are memories and pain.
Let me wake up from this nightmare
Since none of this is fair.
I want this to come to an end already
And maybe, just maybe,
Happiness will approach me.
