The waves call your name like a long lost friend
Promising to protect you from yourself
You paddle into the night your only friend
The moon
Watching over you
As you spot the perfect wave you go after it like a fox and his prey
The wind is cheering you on
Lifting you higher and higher until you feel unstoppable
All too soon you crash into the shore always wishing it could last longer
