"Heal"
Lying there calmly, you're sleeping, serene.
The hot summer night wraps you in a dream.
It starts with the sunlight, some fluffy white clouds.
Then suddenly out of nowhere, you're incased in a shroud,
Of painful despairing memories, reborn,
Of hate pressed inside you, your dismay, your scorn.
The devils who've harmed you, have broken your heart,
You're scared one more problem could tear it apart,
But to your surprise, the sun once again rises,
The fear that you've felt instantly surmises,
I pull your face close, in a kiss all too real,
More time spent with me, is all your mind needs, to heal.
