I'm only Human

I'm only human
I've been built on broken promises and shattered dreams
I'm torn into shreds and weaker than it seems
Slowly and quietly I start to slip away
Day by day, I grow colder as the days get warmer
I'm drifting far away
Like the ocean on a stormy day
The nights get longer and the days shorter
And I'm gone
Lost in myself with no return
I'm drowning in a pool of sadness while everyone around me is watching
But has no thought about it.
