McDonald's
It made him uneasy, like when a branch whips your face
All he could do was sit there and wait
 Every Sunday the same conversation
Where could they eat without a reservation?

All he wanted was for her to be pleased
But he too had his own needs
He made sacrifices for her, but she didn’t understand
Sometimes he wanted to be the man

She yelled at him “You always get to choose!”
And he replied “So, what have you got to lose?”
“Fine!” She said, “Pick what you want.”
He said “McDonald’s”, her favorite restaurant.
