Snowflakes chill my frosted face
Warming sun, icy taste
Still blue eyes couldn't see
Watching close next to me
She turns around, resumes her pace
I keep quiet, like everyday
She lifts her head, meets my eyes
Recognition and a smile
I smile back and give a wave
She doesn't know I have to be brave
