At last, you've come
oh ferryman.
I anticipated your arrival
arched over this porcelain bowl
reeking with acrid,
rejected nourishment.
Take my bitter gold
and me
towards the tumulus
on the ground
and the cold setting sun.
Place me among the lilies
below tinkling stars
of diamonds
and let my past
dissolve.
