why do i bother
to try to win you over
to try and make you see
that i am good enough

why do i bother
to make you happy
to make you smile
when im not happy myself

why do i bother
to try to fix our past
to mend the broken promises
and have a new beginning

why do i bother
to prove im not like the rest
to show you i can be better
and we can be something

why do i bother
why do i try to look my best
why do i get so nervous around you
its because i love you...
