Ships, battles, honor
Water is as blue as a sky
Is a place soldiers once called home
water deep as the Grand Canyon
The beach is like a freshly stained porch
Respect, memorial, ships, soldiers
Retired from the battle
Ships have sunk
Lives have been lost
Soldiers have seen blood
But none of this will be forgotten
We respect the soldiers
Who lost their lives
For our freedom
And for our lives
