Dont Drink and Drive
You go to a party and drink in the fun,
Intoxicated and wasted,
Blurry vision as you walk,
Fumbling for your keys,
Your parents said not to drive like this,
You wouldn’t listen,
You never cared,
Just wanting to have fun you go ahead,
The car swerves right off the road,
The police and fire men all rush to your rescue,
Your parents hope you’re still alive,
You hear voices say “Are you ok?”,
“Talk to me”,
“You should’ve never taken the alcohol son”,
Now everyone is at your funeral,
Your mother is crying,
Your father is concealing the sadness inside,
All your friends lay a flower on your casket,
They lower you into the ground,
There’s nothing left for you now,
Everything has come to an end,
Your final scene,
You take your last bow,
The curtains close,
You’re just another kid who died
Because of drinking and driving,
That’s the end.
