String of Laughter

A string of laughter fills the air Bubbles of sound colliding A tinkling of money Clattering against the floor Scoop them up Quick! Before it’s nevermore Put them into my bag Let me keep them for a while Cherish the laughter Pulling out the bubbles one by one on their string take them out slowly they won’t last long like kisses and hugs only for a short while they’re in limited supply only to be felt every once in a while piercing the dullness of life.
