Waves of cotton
And fields of silk
Awake in the morning
To a gloomy fog
Suffocating
And deadly
Leave your soft cocoon
Enter real life
Abandon dreamland
The emerald trees
And sapphire fruit
That sprouts
And grows
Like dandelions
In an unkempt garden
Take on the street
With cars and
Laughter and shouting
With the touch of
Jagged gravel
The pungent smell
Of cigarettes
And trash
This is the real world
