Forever Lost
It starts to take over.
An overwhelming sense of isolation.
Like black seas turning old wooden boats to scraps.
Like a twister ripping up a family's whole life.
They say being alone is sitting by yourself, or standing on the outskirts of a group.
Being truly alone though is being lost.
Once you are pushed to the outskirts of humanity, you know what it is to truly be alone.
To be lost among it all.
