Everything Must Fall
I walk out into the brisk cold day
Seeing the sun capture between the glistening bay
Light white clouds fill the sky
Birds sing to the heavenly sky as they fly
Flowers and weeds cover the ever winding trial
 Creating a unique long veil
Where you line this unusual path that everyone must take
I look at you realizing how much you have shrank
You are small and unnoticeable in this beautiful place
But in our world you decide our pace
Your base is a neutral color representing peace among all
While you colors paint the ground as they slowly fall
You show the coldness that this world brings
As the birds rest on your arms beginning to spread their wings
Just waiting to fly away to a better place
They disappear into the night without a trace
But you know they will not be gone for long
However you are no longer strong
You begin to weaken in the cold
And soon we all realize that even nature gets old.
