I wish...
I wish that money did not exist, and good will was what mattered most.
I wish that others did their jobs because they wanted to, and everyone had a home.
I wish that I could take away hunger, sickness, and death;
Only then would the world would turn away from greed, anger, and blame.
I wish no one would resort to violence, because there would be no need.
I wish that every father knew that his daughter would be safe,
In the hands of any young man.
I wish that every child had all that they needed.
I wish that no mother would never have to die.
I wish that no parent had to bury a child.
I wish that every child could have a real chance.
I wish that no child ever had to say goodbye to a parent before their time.
I wish everyone died at peace,
In their bed,
In the house they had their children in.
I wish I could fix all our troubles.
I wish we could write a song that could change the world.
I wish I could fix your smile so it doesn't hurt, anymore.
I wish I could find a way that nothing hurt you anymore.
I wish we could live forever,
Forever here with each other,
Without fear or pain.
I wish a lot of things,
Never to be the same.
