Sometimes I Wonder
Sometimes, I wonder.
Sometimes, I wander.
Sometimes, I can’t help but worry
About what will happen to the future.
My mind is overwhelmed
With the possibilities
But also with the restrictions
That I don’t want to face
To grow up
To grow old
To break my heart
To fall in love
I don’t know where I will go
I don’t know what I want to do
I don’t know when I will die
And I don’t know entirely why
Why do I wonder?
Why do I worry?
Why can’t I think of anything else,
Than the reasons my mind is so blurry
So many choices
And so many dead ends
You hear all the voices
But you can’t try every door
We have to choose,
We have to know
We need to learn
To love and grow
Sometimes, I wonder.
Sometimes, I wander.
Sometimes, I can’t help but worry
About what will happen to the future.
