I am concealed,
Within the past.
It brings me down,
Down to the ground.
Secluded.
Alone.
Trapped inside,
The past becomes a lie.
Living denial,
Life is a mistake.
Smile less,
Dressed with fear.
Went out and came out,
Alive with eagerness.
The past is a mystery,
An unsolved crime.

The author's comments:
This is a poem about being who you are. Not being afraid of your past and to be yourself, no matter what. Look forward to your future.
