She stares into the mirror, unsatisfied & unhappy with herself.
140 pounds too many, she said.
Once I’m at 115, I’ll be happy, she said.
Weeks passed, she stopped eating.

She worked out until she couldn’t move.
Once I’m at 90, I’ll be happy, she said as she went to bed.
She never woke up.
Heart Failure.
