Forever Love
As its beauty enchants me, my brain warns away.
knowing danger is eminent.
Blood red color fill my irises, stemming from a dark green vine of hate turning to love.
The petals, soft like that of a butterfly's wings, I caress feeling its texture fill me with
emotion.
Gripping the stem in my grasp tightly, the sharp thorns pierce my skin. Blood trickling from my palm
to fall upon the cheek of my lover. His closed eyes his relaxed features his unmoving chest, striking deep
within me.
Inside, outside, all around I can sense his death. My blood and tears stain his face, poison embedded in the thorns.
Inject into my blood burning through my veins as if on fire. I scream in pain, sinking to my knees dropping the rose it fell to lay
beside his head in the coffin. My heart jolts my body falls onto his, my tears turning to blood. I grip his shoulders as the Angel of Death
takes me to my lover just before I disappear forever, my love's hand comes up to rest on my head.
United, eternity, death cannot keep he and I apart. I smile as I fade away knowing I'm safe in his hold.
