there is darkness within me
magnificent and powerful waiting to be unleashed
it seeps into my soul
like water through the cracks
with the burning desire to flow free
i close my eyes and listen to the lighting crack and cry
it's starting to rain now
it's raining the tears of everyone whos ever felt pain
there are whispers in the wind
whispers of regret
the darkness is closing in but yet
the moon still shines bright
souls are rallying
open to accept the power
the power of darkness
destine to make it through the life we were given
