Loneliness
There's a little thing called loneliness
That hides within your soul
It tugs at your heart
And makes your fingers cold
It isn't about the people
You could be standing in a crowd
It's the knowledge that you're different
It's the scream without a sound
You want to love like they love
It's beautiful to watch
Yet you hold back
Tuck it all inside
It's fear that makes you still
Wrapped in their embrace
What if you love them
When they could never love you back?
