"i wish i could write as mysterious as a cat" -Edgar Allen Poe

I hear the world fighting, the whispers in the wind i hear,
Those of the flowers striving to bloom through the chemical haze

the heaviness
The gentle grass wishing to spurt though the pavement,

the restriction
The bees buzzing only to fall at the hands of man,

the suffering
The lone penguin unable to find a patch of ice to perch on,

the loneliness
The tired raven searching for a tree to call home, for hers has been taken away

the panic
The tormented fish longing for breadth in the murky water

the despair
The worried mother bear unsure of where to rest her child

the fear
Each fighting for what is rightfully theirs
Nature what belongs to nature - how in the city we corrupt our foundation
Singing with strength heir broken fighting song
